Traditionally Leaded Glass

What is the Difference Between Traditionally Leaded Glass, and Window Leadwork?

We’re glad you asked. The difference is in the process and materials used!

With traditionally leaded glass, each pane of glass is separately cut and brought together using zinc caming that is welded together and finally cemented.

Window leadwork takes modern, insulated windows and applies a caming to the surface of the glass. This method ensures that your home stays insulated while providing the old-world aesthetic of leaded glass.

Important Things to know About Traditionally Leaded Glass

While giving an old-age aesthetic, traditionally leaded windows provide old-age insulation to your home. Although our team takes pride in our craftsmanship of traditionally leaded glass, we recommend going with a more energy-efficient solution.

Traditionally leaded glass can be a fantastic design solution for the interior of your home, such as cabinet doors, pantry doors, or home office doors.
